Horizontal lines at the bottom of iMac(M1,2021) screen

What is the update on this issue now? I have also started getting the same problem with my iMac which I purchased in July 2021 iMac 24inch M1 chip since a month now and still no progress on any solution from apple.

I have an iMac M1 24 inches purchased in January 2022. For now everything is fine, but I'm afraid that I might have the same problem soon. I previously had a MacBook Air and the famous butterfly keyboard problem, which Apple replaced under its repair program.

I know there were lawsuits in the US against Apple to force them to fix this problem for free. I hope it will be the same with horizontal lines now.

If my iMac breaks down too and Apple doesn't fix it for free, I give You my word I will never buy anything from them again. Apple will cease to exist for me, I will go back to Windows.

Of course I will leave feedback and write what I think about them. Maybe if a few hundred thousand disappointed users do the same they will be scared.

I too have the same issue I took this in 2021 and display is costing very high Rupees 54000 in India, Looks like apple should do this for free seems many are having this issue and definitely this seems like a manufacturing defect. :(

Try safe booting the Mac and see if still occurs

I too have horizontal lines on my display after just 18 months of use. Mac M1 Air. Very Disappointed.
