Error when logging in to Apple Vision Pro: Unable to update account - unknown error occurred
Key information:
- Brand new Apple Vision Pro
- Used to login to a European account initially
- Realized App Store is limited to U.S. accounts, so logged out
- Upon logging in to my U.S. account it asks for my CVC, mobile number
- Both of these are accepted, but when clicking agree to the ToS it says unable to update account unknown error occurred
Things I have tried:
- Hard reset AVP with the "Erase All Data" function
- Verifying with a different phone number (both numbers are UK numbers)
- Creating a brand new U.S. Apple ID
Any ideas on what this could possibly mean and how to solve it? Super frustrated as unable to use my new spatial computer :(
