I've just set up a new Mac Studio using a time machine backup from an intel mac mini running Sonoma. When I go into to manage storage not all of the controls are available. How can I fix this? Thank you.

So sorry, but I have no idea what features you feel are missing.
For me, I never found ANY useful Controls under that feature, not in any version of MacOS.
A new Mac likely upgraded you to a new version of MacOS, and you may simply be seeing what the new version provides.

I just get graphs showing the three volumes.
There should be a controls for optimizing storage, reducing clutter, and automatic trash deletion. These are not appearing.
What happens when you click (All volumes) button?
