Files PDF crashes when trying to markup PDF

Hi,

I use files for my work and like to use the Apple Pencil to markup what I’m reading (on my 4th gen 11” iPad). It’s very convenient to have everything in files so I can access my work whenever necessary but an increasing number of pdfs reset when I try to mark on them and everything I just wrote will disappear. It’s getting to be so that I can’t even use it. If there is anything more I should do, please let me know or if there are better, more stable options for storing, reading, and marking up pdfs. All components are completely updated. Thanks!
