How can I transfer music files from my Music folder to my iTunes library on MacBook Pro?

There are a lot of files in my Music folder that are not in my iTunes library. How do I get them into my library?I have a Macbook Pro operating Sonoma 14.5.

You need to add them to your library. Make sure you know where the files are and follow the steps in here: Import music from a computer to Music on Mac - Apple Support
