Searching WITHIN a shared icloud album

Hi! I am having trouble searching through icloud shared albums. First of all is there a way to search for specific locations within the shared album?

When I do so, the search results only consist of photos that are also on my device.

I would like to search photos/videos that are only on the cloud. I tried doing that on my iPhone and Mac, both are up to date, and I could't find a solution.

I check all settings, I have the right permissions for the shared albums and all that.

I would highly appreciate any help.
