I am looking to replace my old Apple Airport Extreme Base Stations (I have 3 of them) with 3 Mesh Routers all hardwired together.
I was considering the eero 6E since I have 2 iPhones on Wi-Fi 6 & 1 iPad on Wi-Fi 6E.
But Consumer Reports rates it way down the list.
What Mesh Routers are you using? Why?
I am usually running Ubiquiti, which offers Wi-Fi gear which operates with both wired backhaul and with mesh options. It works, and the tooling is useful, flexible, capable, and extensible.
If you’re looking for something in the same general range as AirPort Extreme, with mesh, look at Unifi Express.
