How can I back up the library folder on my Macbook to iCloud?

I understand that you can turn on app data syncing to iCloud, but this is only applicable to apps which were downloaded from the app store. I have several apps which have valuable data stored within their "application support" folder. For instance, Davinci Resolve stores all my saved LUTs and database there. Yes, I have a separate backup of this going to a physical drive, but I am looking to replace my second redundant physical drive with an online version, and I want to consolidate my various cloud backup accounts to one. ie iCloud. To same money and to make things simnpler.
