iPhone Screen Black. Stuck on Voiceover

We accidentally activated Voiceover on one of our iPhone 14 Pros. The screen went black and the spoken responses to touches were so fast, one could not understand what was said. Searched the Internet, nothing was working and finally called Apple support. They were great! Patient and motivated to help but the agent could not find the solution and set up an appointment at the Genius Bar.

Finally found the solution on YouTube:

Pull up partially from the bottom of the black screen and a passcode screen appears that requires three touches per number. It worked and, after three hours of someone addicted to their phone not having one, the problem was solved. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GyhEwc3wRTA
