Selected text (to look up, highlight, etc.) in iBooks used to be blue, now it’s an almost invisible grey

When I highlight text in normal PDFs on my iPad, it’s the normal blue color.

But!! Now for some reason and ONLY when using the Books app & reading a PDF, when I select text, it is barely visible which text is selected. It’s a very faint grey that you can’t even see!

Does anyone know how to fix? Like I said, when I open a PDF using OneDrive, GoogleDrive, etc., it’s still blue, so it’s not an Adobe thing, I imagine.
