Re: "How can I change my alarm settings so it doesn’t turn off by pressing the power and volume buttons?"
"it’s way too easy to snooze it and turn it off by pressing the buttons"
"make it harder to turn it off and maybe make it louder as well "
Wondering if you have set a regular alarm in the Clock app
or
Maybe you have set up a wake up alarm as part of a full sleep schedule in the Health app
(includes bedtimes, wake up times, and more)
_____________
Here's one suggestion:
_____________
In the clock app:
You can edit the settings to turn off the 9 minute snooze feature.
You then turn the alarm off by tapping the button near the alarm time.
Tap Edit at the top left, then tap the alarm time. Then you can edit any of the the features below
- Repeat: Choose the days of the week you want the alarm to repeat.
- Label: Give the alarm a name, like “Water the plants.”
- Sound: Choose a vibration, song, or ringtone:
eg: See if you can choose a louder ringtone that will wake you from those already supplied on iPhone .
or check out other ringtones you can install:
See how to: Get ringtones, text tones, and alert tones in the iTunes Store on iPhone - Apple Support
or
If necessary: You can download free volume-boosted sounds from the App Store
- Snooze: Give yourself 9 more minutes. (Turn off this snooze option, so must wake yourself up from the alarm.)
some of the above info. above comes from: Set an alarm on iPhone - Apple Support
Other Apple support articles if needed : Use tones and ringtones with your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

All the best :-)
