iCloud keeps redownloading large amounts of data every single day.

Every day, when starting to use the MacBook Pro M3 again, iCloud start with a huge/large download of data. (Screenshot attached).

How can I stop this?

I have set the iCloud to "Optimise Mac Storage"

Disabling this, does not resolve the problem. Remains the same.

It is really cumbersome especially when working from slower Internet connection when there is a 40Gb download starting every time. (And you can not stop it)

I could not find any solution in this forum or other forums.

Hope anyone can help me here.

Best Regards,

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 14.5
