Why is systemBlue the Default Tint Color in iOS Development?

Hello,

I have a question about why the default Tint Color in iOS development is systemBlue. Among many colors, why was systemBlue chosen? Could you please explain the reason?

Here are my thoughts:

1, It inherits the design philosophy of Mac OS X's GUI design "AQUA." Additionally, one reason for this inheritance is that users have a recognition of blue as a clickable color, so there was no reason to change it.

2, The background color changing from blue to text being blue was influenced by the design simplification approach introduced in iOS 7.

3, Blue is a color that is visible to people with deuteranopia (red-green color blindness).

4, When color monitors became mainstream, blue was a color that was easy to see on both white and black backgrounds.

I believe these are the reasons. If there are more detailed explanations or other reasons, I would appreciate it if you could share them.

Thank you.

iPhone 6, iOS 12
