Where is the password for Hide My Email?

Hi-I am using an M1 MBP running Ventura. I have created some Hide My Emails email addresses and I am frustrated when I use a Hide My Email address again it often asks for the password. I have searched the discussions about this issue and there are questions about this but no answers.

So I am asking that when I create another Hide My Email am I supposed to add a password of my own?

So the addresses I currently have how do I use them if there are no passwords when I log in to websites or apps?

I sure hope that someone can help me. I want to understand how to use this feature but I am puzzled about the password situation. Thank you!

Thank you for replying, muguy. I understand that it masks my email and that replies are sent to my macmail account. What I don't get is that if I go to an app or website that uses the Hide My Email address and it asks for the password, what is the password? The email address was created but no password. What step am I skipping over?
