I just signed up for Apple Arcade again after the subscription is gone. Then I downloaded the nba 2k24 arcade edition again, but my files and my old career has disappeared. What should I do? Is this a 2k problem or Apple Arcade problem?

Apple Arcade games don’t usually preserve data when the subscription lapses, and music playlists can disappear from Apple Music should that subscription lapse.
Does that mean it can't be taken back no matter what?
