Trying to leave Guided Access

iPhone 15 Pro with iOS 17.5.1 - Want to use Guided Access to prevent toddler from leaving an app. Turned it on in settings, started app, enabled Guided Access. Trouble is trying to get out of Guided Access. Clicking side button 3 times only brings up a message that Guided Access is enabled & I need to click side button 3 times to get out!!!!! WTH? I see this is a long standing problem & reboot worked to stop Guided Access. But where’s the FIX? I don’t want to do the slow reboot every single time. HELP! TIA!
