Cutting and pasting in MS Word for Mac

When cutting and pasting in MS Word for Mac, there is this annoying feature that involves the phrase or word you are editing to follow the cursor around which makes it almost impossible to see where the phrase is going to land when you finish dragging it. Is there anyway to turn this feature off?

Update: This is also a feature on Pages. How can you turn this feature off?
