I have a 2008 iMac, and I want to install Windows. I have made a Windows XP, 7, 8.1 and 10. However none of them work. XP and don't show up, but 8.1 and 10 come up as 'EFI' but when I press them it doesn't load, just a white screen. Any help?

Get and use a USB DVD/CD drive.

Are you using bootcamp? Generally only certain versions of windows are allowed.

My cd drive doesn't work so I can't install with a cd like it asks.
Get an external CD drive, then.
why not just install it in a virtual machine like virtualBox (it's free) or something?
