Efficiency core used with Logic pro x

Logic pro x is a Apple native software and as a DAW it does not use the efficiency cores in the silicone chips contrary to other brand DAWs like Reaper, Cubase and newly, ProTools. How can that be?

Applications can provide Quality of Service hints to the operating system which influence the operating system's choice of which type of core (Performance or Efficiency) to use.

It seems possible that Logic Pro is requesting a high class of service for all of its threads, and that the other DAWs are not. Just a conjecture, not based on knowledge of any of these applications' code bases.
