i have a 2012 Mini running Catalina 10.15
I have it synced to iCloud where I have 20GB of photos (600 images) stored. For some reason iCloud has decided to place 360 of these in the Pictures directory in my user profile.
Should I have all 600 images in that directory?

Thanks. I also use Google photos. Could it be possible that these 360 photos have been placed in the Pictures folder that way?
They are 360 of my actual originals but have different file names.
Again, I didn’t put them there manually.
If you sync using iCloud, your pictures are in Photos, not placed into the photo folder individually.
iCloud has decided to place only 360 out of 600 in the Pictures directory in my User profile
