Logic Pro stops working after detecting the Sound Library

Okay, so after installing the Library folder onto an external drive, my Logic straight up freezes and stops responding. If I unplug the drive and the folder is gone, it works just fine, but when it detects the folder again it just crashes basically, and I can't do ANYTHING on it. Any solutions?
