FileProvider using 100%+ cant move files to local storage need assistance

Couple of days ago I was working on a project and noticed I wasnt able to run any commands, i looked at my activity monitor and noticed bird taking up 100% and more cpu usuage. I looked online and saw that the fix is to disable Icloud, now im not sure how or why but this problem went away after a couple hours and i continued working as normal.

Now today, I tried to run the project again, (a simple next.js website) but again nothing running, even git wont work. I check the activity monitor and file provider taking 100%+ cpu usuage. All my files are on Icloud so disabling it isnt an option for me, i try to move things out of the cloud locally to my computer but it seems as though its taking forever, ive waited 30 minutes to move 3 pdfs which also didnt complete before giving up. I cant work on the project like this and need urgent help please. Thank you for any support.
