I redeemed my 1 month apple arcade subscription and it didnt work

I downloaded an arcade game right after redeeming my 1 month trial. Before playing the game I checked my subscriptions and saw that it was good through 09/02. I proceeded to cancel the subscription in order to not get charged after the trial ended.

When I tried to play the arcade game, i got a pop up on my homescreen telling me that i needed a subscription to play the game...

Now I cant even see the subscription under my account, nor the trial purchase in my purchase history.
