Socket is not connected error

Hi. I am trying to connect to my MAC Studio through the Files app on my iPad. I recently moved to the MAC Studio from a 2018 Mac Mini. I was ablr to connect to the mini with no problem - easy to set up. Since puchasing the Studio I have been unable to connect. My Studio is running Sonoma 14.6, and the iPad is iOS 17.5.

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA, Charlie

Might this be the Problem?

I had this issue and then blindly stumbled into the solution. It may have been because I wasn't sharing any folders trying to connect. I set up a folder, putting a file in it, then Properties>Advanced Sharing>[ ]Share This Folder. Then back out a level to Share...>(Click on a name)>Done.
