I wanted to ask if anyone has taken the dive with Sonoma 14.6 (considering all the security problems it apparently fixes) and has any experience with Logic Pro 10.8.1/11.0.1 worth sharing.

Zip your old Logic version before upgrading, so you can unzip, rename and use it just in case. And yes create a time machine backup before upgrading your macOS, also just in case.
