Logic Pro Piano Roll Side Menu Moved/Changed. Can you move it back?

I've been a Logic 10.5.1 user for several years and just updated to version 10.7.9 since recently updating my OS to Monterey. Evidently, I'm slow to update as I like to keep and appreciate things steadily working the way they are.

I noticed that when entering into the piano roll window, the side menu has now been moved and tucked up into the far top left corner, instead of being in the middle left side where it always used to be. It also doesn't seem to be able to be re-positioned either. This is rather unfortunate and annoying as a decade plus Logic user, it clashes with my muscle memory and instincts. I'd like to know is it possible to position the side menu back to the middle left instead of the newly placed top left corner? I've attached screenshots for what I'm referencing.

Also, for what it's worth, I'm not a fan of the UI changes as they now look more bland, faded, and have less character and contrast. Would love if it could get changed back to the way it looked in 10.5.
