the audio i'm mixing is guitar recorded through an interface, no midi used.
i've deleted every automation i have, but two of my tracks have wild volume faders, which is making mixing an absolute pain.
i've tried copying the tracks, erasing the automation- but it's still the same problem.

Also, open the event list and look down it. You will see any anomalys in here that may be easy to miss elsewhere.
You can delete items directly from the event list.
Try switching the automation on and make a track volume adj to Zero db, then try again. Maybe it’s just needs to refresh the automation data for region. Or just toggle off then back on.
If that doesn’t work, try booting in safe mode. It might clear cache issues.
Did you know there are Track- and Region automation? Make sure you delete all of them.
If that doesn't help, have a look inside of the region, it could also be caused by cc messages.
