I am running Mac OS 14.6.1 and am trying to retag music that I have downloaded. None of the songs can be altered. So I have say a group 16 songs from a live album and they all come up separately. When I try to change the artist or album name, nothing happens. This has only started happening about a month or so ago. What am I missing and how can I get to combine this into 1 album under 1 artist?
iMac (M3, 2023)
I took the same files, copied them to a flash drive, put then into my iMac running Monterey and was able to change tags like I always could. There is something in the current Music software running on my M1 iMac and Sonoma 14.6.1
I still cannot get this to work now using Sequoia ( OS 15)
I am unable to alter MP3 tags in Music
