How to export books from the imac (M3, 2023, Sonoma) from the Books-app?

I use both the Books app and an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite to read my ebooks. To distribute such ebooks, I use calibre. Recently I bought a new iMac (M3, modeler 2023 with OS Sanoma). I cannot now find a library where Apple stores books that are used in the Books-app. And so I cannot input those ebooks in Calibre.

I have found the location where iBooks stored its books and there is a 'Boeken' map in iCloud which also contains some ebooks. But the majority of titles currently accessible in the Boeken-app on my iMac are not visible.

Anybody any suggestions?
