My iPhone screen stops working while using voice over

You may want to check if there is an iOS17 software update waiting to be installed on your iPhone:

You can check in Settings > General > Software updates.

(NB: If so, It is always wise to back-up the data on your iPhone before installing the update.)

There's another discussion thread where a Community Specialist provides answers to someone with a similar situation to yours. You may want to try testing your screen with other apps in the same way.

Snakey ~ As your iPhone SE 3rd gen could be nearly 2½ years old, it's worth ruling out a weak battery as the cause. So...

Does your iPhone SE still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...
