Logic Pro White Noise blasts SPECIFICALLY on the stereo out track

I am getting white noise blasts specifically on my stereo out track. They are random and not replicable with certainty but they do show up in the final bounce. I've gone through and muted every track and found that only the stereo out track is producing noise even when all other tracks are muted. The white noise blasts alternate between panned left and right. I have read online that it may be a plug-in playback issue but am not sure seeing as there are no plugins on my stereo out. Is this fixable? or should I revert to a previous back-up?
