Improving email efficiency and adding an approved Apple app to filter incoming emails.

I'm being deluged with emails and find that despite "unsubscribing" from certain email URL's - they keep coming. Are there Apple approved apps that I can safely install where I can list (and "add to" those unwanted email addresses) that are increasingly Spam. They seem to be by-passing my Spam folder (which I routinely just delete) and are going to my email address. I'd like to be able to use an App that will recognize a URL and simply block it from populating my email address. I'm increasingly spending an inordinate amount of time just mindlessly sorting unwanted emails.
