Help needed to play 4K videos through iTunes to Apple 4K TV.

I have some home videos in 4K that play on my MacBook pro beautifully with QuickTime. When I put them in iTunes the play beautifully.

However, at home, I have a Windows machine as my iTunes server which plays to an Apple 4K TV. The videos are stored on a Network Attached Storage. The videos play fine on Windows outside of iTunes, but do not play through iTunes and when I use the Apple 4K TV, it does not play the videos. I have spent 4 days trying to trouble shoot. Any suggestions?
