iCloud Private Relay Prevents using college wifi

I wanted to leave this here because it is something I noticed recently. I started using iCloud private relay and discovered that when logged into my university's wifi network I could not use the internet at all. This was not an issue last semester but I don't recall having private relay active at that time. Having private relay on prevented me from using the network in any capacity. I hope this helps anyone who is having trouble with their network. I'm not sure why this happens but it is frustrating.
