family process not responding on macOS

Howdy,

I've noticed that a lot of my Family settings when set on my iPhone don't get updated on my iMac. Today I happened to be in Activity Monitor for another issue (red menu bar while using Safari) and noticed the family process was hung up. I forced closed the process and it hasn't started running again.

Activity Monitor.app Statistics shows it isn't a one-off issue: 14 Recent hangs, 9785 Faults and probably other bad stuff I just can't decipher.

Sorry I took the attached logs after I restarted the process so they may be less relevant but still shows information on what the process is supposed to be doing

It's different from Family (System Settings) which doesn't seem to have an issue.

I am guessing family is some sort of iCloud process that gets called when another device (iPhone) is making changes to Family Settings and is trying to sync those changes (when I make changes on my iPhone the process appears in Activity Monitor.app on macOS).

I don't want to log in and out of iCloud again as it causes so much disruption. Is there a "family" container or cache somewhere that needs to be expelled? What might be causing the family process to hang so often?

Thanks!
