Can I connect Anker 551 USB-C Hubto the Mac mini?
I have the Anker 551 (8 in 1) usb c hub that I use for my iPad. I wanted to know can I connect it and use it with the Mac mini M2?

I can't see why it wouldn't work. Anker on the product's web page says that macOS is supported. But you can contact Anker and ask. It certainly shouldn't hurt your Mac if you want to just give it a try, though it's possible that not all of the ports in the 551 will work.

Looks like you could power the hub with a USB-C power brick and charging cable, though the form factor of the hub would make it look a bit "odd", sitting next to a Mac mini.
I wouldn't trust any Hub that doesn't have it's own AC power.
