I am trying to figure out why/when a password was added to my iCloud Keychain

Hello,

I am trying to figure out why/when a password was added to my apple keychain. I just can't figure out what it's used for but was just created this past week... so what action did I take that caused this?

The name of the password is my gmail email address (which also happens to be my apple ID if that matters). It was "last modified" on September 9th, 2024. It's type is app password. The "Account" is a large integer. The "where" attribute is "iCloud"... access lists web apps and mobileme apps?

Any clues, folks? I have since deleted it and I am waiting for it to appear again... but everything is working fine right now.

Note that I doubt it's my actual gmail/google login... that wouldn't have iCloud as where... I have logged into my gmail account, my icloud account (and run some icloud apps), and logged into my apple account. No luck... the password has not re-appeared.

Your Apple ID and gmail web address are same say example1@gmail.com and signed in as Apple ID in the iPhone . the gmail address and password are never kept as same , change it Change your Apple ID password - Apple Support
