iCloud Drive sync refresh in Finder

This is now an issue that has persisted for years. This is a significant and incredibly frustrating problem when you cant effectively transfer, or synchronize files to your icloud drive across your devices.

Yes, I have tried the workaround method of creating a new folder inside an iCloud folder to attempt to trigger a refresh of additional files but that is far from guaranteed. This clumsy method works less times than it does.

It is astonishing that a company with as substantial resources and skilled employees has not yet figured out how to make this function properly either an auto detect and/or force refresh key-combo.

Lets say I have a 5 megabyte pdf document on my local drive. I drag it over to an open window of a folder located on my icloud drive. Sometimes this file will not appear in my icloud drive on other devices for 30 minutes, sometimes it appears after 30 seconds and sometimes it appears only after I create a new folder inside the same icloud folder. There is little to no consistency, cant be trusted, usually it is a very slow process. My computer has an ethernet cable connected to fiber internet provided by Google, my other devices are on the same network using wifi.
