Failed to activate device after erasing mac

Hello as the title says, After trying to erase for fresh reinstall MacOS, I can not activate it even though I did input the right password for my iCloud, it keeps failing so I decided to use (old) device’s password instead and it still fails. Now my Mac is a useless piece of metal. Someone, please help.
