I just updated my iMac M1 to run Sequoia and now my USB flash drives are not recognized. My external hard drives are recognized as are my external SSD's. I have seen online that I am not the only one with this issue, but nowhere have I found a fix. Is this something that can be fixed or do I have to wait for a update?

Try looking in ‘about this Mac’ > ‘USB’. That’s where I found it…
Same connections, working fine, although sequoia hid the drive in ‘about this mac’ >USB and it had to be scolded.
#1 is the case for me. Is there a fix to this?
Do they show up in Disk Utility?

If an Intel Mac have you done a Pram Reset, or tried a Safe Boot?
Tried my Garmin this afternoon after updating to 15.3, no change - still won't connect.
I'm currently on 15.3.1, and I am still experiencing issues with connectivity. Has anyone found a solution? This is insanity to me.
Try connecting the external drive in windows, and "fix the errors" when it says in Windows, and after the Fix then try plugin to Mac and it should show up.
Is this new drive or was it showing up before?
Probably not what everyone wants to hear, but a new dongle worked fine for me. The old one still works on my older laptop on older OS
