iPhone 16 + Bluetooth LE Audio for Hearing Aids/Cochlear Implant

Does the new iPhone 16 support Bluetooth LE Audio?

The website only describes "Bluetooth 5.3," but I can't find more information. Bluetooth LE Audio enhances audio performance for hearing aids and cochlear implants and will enable Auracast in the future. Only a few Android mobiles have this feature (which also allows bimodal streaming), but I hope the new iPhone 16 also supports it. Apple is behind in this tech, and I hoped I wouldn't need to switch.

“Bluetooth LE” and “Bluetooth LE Audio” are two different things. Unfortunately I don’t think Apple has said anything about LE Audio yet, so I would assume it’s not supported at this time.
