Airpod pro not working properly after ios 18 update both for gaming ( pubg) or you feel some noise or disturbance as you put on the airpod. So bad sound quality. Feels unhealthy to ears too.
Also experiencing PUBG mobile w iOS 18. Microphone causes audio to intermittently lag and/or stop. If I disable microphone and then enable again most times the audio returns to normal.

I found that the directionality of the sound in PUBG was reduced. With iOS 18, you can’t tell where sounds are coming from.
Since iOS 18, I also have the problem that while playing PUBG Mobile, a kind of scratching and desynchronised noise appears sporadically over time. This is an extreme hindrance to playing. The only workaround is to switch Bluetooth on and off while playing so that the Airpods reconnect. This is very unfavourable. I have tried everything, changed various settings, tried or avoided different modes, NOTHING helps. So it seems to be a serious bug!
I use an iPhone 15 Pro Max and Airpods Pro 2 with latest versions.
So far no real solution, only the workaround of disconnecting the airpods from Bluetooth and reconnecting them. I'm going to try other headphones because it's really annoying

The following fixes this. With airpods connected, in Control Center, long-tap on airpods volume control. Turn off Spatial Audio. This also turns off the new head-tracking feature.
Unfortunately, I can't confirm that. The feature is switched off for me, but the incorrect behaviour still occurs.
