How do I get iCloud to leave enough room on my hard drive so that time machine can back up to an external drive? iCloud will not leave enough space on my hard drive to perform the functions. It must to complete a Time Machine back up. I delete data from my drive, iCloud fills it back up still can’t run Time Machine. Does anyone have a solution?
In TimeMachine put the folder /Users/yourname/Library/Mobile Documents/com-appie~CloudDocs in the excluded
Open Time Machine General>Settings>Options>Exclude From Time Machine by using the + and then go and find the Folder
