Safari does not download files to external hard disks or NAS

Since the update to Sequoia 15.0, Safari on my M2 8GB MacMini can no longer save files to the NAS or external hard disks. The files are automatically saved as a "filename.fileextension.download" file. And the file in the safari downloads tab mentions "cannot move file" underneath it. Other browsers do not have this problem.

Hi,

It depends of the partition system of the external drive.

On APFS or FAT32, it works.

On NTFS or Ext4 or BTRFS or ExFAT it doesn't work for me.

It looks like a safari bug...
