I have 2 Macs.

1) Apple silicon M2 CPU -> can reset iPhone access in iPhone mirroring settings on Mac OS 15

2) Intel i7 CPU -> cannot reset iPhone access in iPhone mirroring settings on Mac OS 15 and found message "Resetting iPhone access failed. Try again later."

How to solve this?

(Mirroring with iOS 18)

iPhone Mirroring worked, then stopped working I started using iPhone Mirroring as soon as it came out, and it was working great. Very useful! Then it stopped working. I don't know of anything I changed at the point when it stopped. Now I start up the OSX app and it says "Unlock iPhone" very briefly (but correctly referring to my phone by name) and then switches to "Unable to Connect to iPhone". I have tried resetting both the phone (15 Pro) and the Mac (M3 MacBook Pro). Both are up-to-date as of yesterday. Both have WiFi and Bluetooth on, and they are both on the same WiFi network and logged into the same Apple ID. The phone appears correctly in the device list on my Apple account, and it is the only phone on that list. I can copy and paste between the two devices, AirDrop works in both directions, iMessage sharing works, phone calls from the computer via the phone work. iPhone Mirroring does not. What should I try, or how can I debug this further?

How do I fix iPhone mirroring loop requiring locked phone? Iphone mirroring keeps asking me to unlock my phone, then tells me it can't connect unless locked As said above. Both iphone 14 and macbook pro 2019 have the latest ios/macos loaded. When I click to mirror the phone. My macbook asks that I unlock to connect. So I do that and click connect. Then my macbook says. Can not connect unless phone is locked. And around in circles we go. [Edited by Moderator]

Hello, try going into seetings, desktop and dock, there, scroll down where it says WIDGETS. There, you will see Iphone, choose the iPhone you want to use, then, choose, reboot both devices, Mac and Iphone and it should work. It worked for me.

Also, if this doesn't work, try resetting network settings in your iPhone. And then to the above.

I do not have "iPhone" listed under widgets
