SELECTING ALL RECORD BUTTONS AT ONCE ON LOGIC

I am trying to record all my drum channels on logic pro with my scarlett 18i20 and octopre, not sure if the new apple update had to do anything with it since am not able to select all my channels to record at once, when i highlight all channels to hit record it leaves some channels unselected, when i try to select the ones missing it unselects other channels. already checked and make sure it wasnt something it had to do with focurite control or the interface but its working fine and it is sending signal just fine, the problem seems to be in logic pro. Can someone help me please?
