I can't uninstall the new apple password app on my Mac. I use 1 password and this app interferes with it.
There must be some way to disable it or uninstall it...I hope :-)

I found a way to disable it in system prefs but cannot seem to be able to delete it. When I dragged it into App Cleaner, it looked like it deleted but it remains in the list of apps in finder -- not the end of the world but it tried to interfere with 1 password so many times, I would feel better with it gone.

I am having the same problem with the new Passwords app interfering with 1Password. How did you disable it in system preferences? I have been clicking around but not able to find a way to disable it. Thanks so much for your help.

You can't delete a native app, find the password directly on the app and delete it, you should be fine then

thanks. I thought the new iOS allowed deleting some.
Since I was able to disable it, I'm ok with just hiding the icon
