Contacted Apple once on this issue; being told to restore the tablet to address the issue. Did that today but still issue unresolved! Please help!

Re: Assistive Touch in iPad OS 17.7 not Working on iPad Pro M4

Wondering if it has been working ok before, and has stopped working, or if this is the first time you are intending to set-up and use Assistive touch.

Also, wondering what happens when you try to use Assistive touch, is there an erroir message that many help pin-point the cause.

_______________

Trouble-shooting:

Below are a few things you may want to try, if you haven't already:

✽ Open Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch.

If Assistive touch is on, turn it off, wait awhile, and then turn it back on.

or

If Assistive touch is off, turn it on, set it up if needed, and customize AssistiveTouch to suit. For tips: see how to: Use AssistiveTouch on iPad - Apple Support

✽ If you still need help: Try restarting your iPad (deletes temporary files, re-establishes connections, may update recent setting changes, often restores order if something is not working. If needed, see how to: Restart your iPad - Apple Support

_______________

✽ If restarting hasn't helped:

Try: Settings > Accessibility > Touch > AssistiveTouch.

Now scroll down and tap on the "Idle capacity" option

Try dragging the slider-button to change it,

eg: so it is on the right of the middle ... or you could just drag it back and forth.
