Meta Verified Refund

I applied for my business instagram to be Meta verified, which was declined because my name didn’t match the records. Not sure how that could be because I’ve used the same passport to Meta verify my personal account. I then received a msg to say I could apply for a refund, which I did but it was declined by the app store stating that I was ineligible.


Instagram now displays a page saying that I can apply again once the refund is processed, but when I click on “check refund status” button, it tells me that I’m ineligible for a refund. I seem to be stuck in a loop.


I can’t contact neither company to get an answer.


any help?

I'm in the same situation, contacted apple by chat and they redirect me to the policy saying that the refund system is automated and there is nothing I can do about it.


I've contacted Meta about this and let them know about the situation and they're investigating it, but no solution so far, I offered them to refund me to refund via an alternative method or manually override the verification process which is now stuck in refund state, let me know if you figured it out ?
