iOS 18.0.1 iPhone 13 - was unable to receive incoming mail

After updating to iOS 18.0.1 today, I wasn't receiving any incoming emails. After reading several posts, I retyped my IMAP info. Still didn't work. Then remembered I turned on VPN with Norton on phone yesterday. So I turned it off and now I am receiving emails. Wondering if VPN caused my issue. Not sure, but thought sharing info might help others.

Here’s what I get after entering IMAP password over and over again for 3 of my Comcast.net accounts. VPN is turned off too!!

Cannot Get Mail


The mail server "imap.comcast.net" is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account info in


Mail settings.


Server code "ALERT", server message "Temporarily blacklisted


IP Address - try again later".


OK
